Job Title: Metal Finisher
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Biggleswade
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am-16:00pm, and Friday 07:00am-13:00pm
Hourly Rate: £13.50ph+ (DOE)
 
Our well known client based in Biggleswade are looking for a Metal Finisher to their fast growing team, on a Temp to Perm basis. We are looking for enthusiastic candidate''s who are available to hit the ground running, and take on relevant duties straight away.
 
Main duties as a Metal Finisher are:
- To produce finished items in a timely and efficient way
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Prepare components and equipment for the required process specified by drawings
- Utilise hand tools such as mops, flap wheels and drills to polish, grain, satin and linish non-ferrous metals such as cooper, stainless steel, and aluminium to high standard
- Maintaining quality checks
- Follow health and safety guidelines
 
Requirements needed as a Metal Finisher:
- Experience within Metal Finishing, including linishing, graining, deburring, polishing
- Knowledge of working with Twin Belt Grainers, Linishers, and Pad Sanders
- Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality
- Be responsible for your own work area
- Good communication skills
