Metal Dresser

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Metal Dresser, for a client located in Ferryhill. This is a Temp to Perm role. Working as part of a small team, working with a variety of hand tools, within your scope of responsibility.Metal Dresser Main Duties and Responsibilities:Working with a variety of hand tools including electric grinders, pneumatic grinders and pad sanding tools.Dressing welds on components of various shapes and sizes ready for painting.Ensuring parts are left with a dressed finish to a high standard.Working unsupervised in a team, working through various jobs without assistance.Metal Dresser Applicants:Must have 1+ years'' experience of working in a metal dressing/finishing environment.Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential.The ability to work unsupervised.Company Benefits:Temporary Staff:38.5 hours per weekOvertime paid at 1.5 of day rate Mon - Sat, 2.0 of day rate for Sunday23 days holiday plus bank holidays - paid hourlyEAP, 247GP, Wellbeing servicesFree on-site parkingKitchen facilitiesSafe working environmentOur client reserves the right to move to 3 shifts, with consultation.
