Role Overview We''re looking for a Metal Design Engineer to join a growing technical team. You''ll bring a strong engineering and metalwork design background, with full training provided on Tekla Structures software. Over time, you''ll be responsible for producing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and general arrangement drawings, working closely with engineers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure efficient project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a design engineer looking to specialise in structural detailing software and build a long-term career within a niche, established industry. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed design drawings and models of metal/steelwork structures, progressing to full 3D modelling in Tekla Structures (training provided) Assist in producing fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, GA drawings, and material lists Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, client specifications, and industry codes Coordinate with engineers, estimators, and project managers to resolve design queries Review and update drawings following client or engineering changes Support the development of standardised drawing processes and ..... full job details .....
