MET Technician

MET Technician (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim)

Location: Swindon 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic OTE £56,000+)

Hours: Monday - Friday (42.5 Hours per Week)

We are currently looking for an experienced MET Technician to join a well-established, manufacturer-approved accident repair centre in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern workshop using the latest repair technology alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include

• Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components prior to panel repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repair work.
• Ordering and fitting replacement parts.
• Reassembling vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Carrying out geometry and wheel alignment work.
• Completing ADAS calibration and diagnostic work using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
• Working collaboratively with the wider Bodyshop team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician or Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics, geometry and ADAS systems is advantageous.
• A conscientious individual with excellent attention to detail.
• Someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• A team player who is eager to learn and develop new skills.
• ATA accreditation or NVQ qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

• Basic Salary up to £52,000 per annum
