MET TechnicianLocation: MiddlesbroughBasic Salary: Up to £50,000 + BonusHours: Mon-Fri, 40h weekJob Description:Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers'' specifications within a state-of-the-art body shop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.Qualifications Required for an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician Will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ)Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter within a busy body shopStrong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hoursExperience with Geometry work and 4-wheel alignmentSound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniquesDiagnostic training Duties of an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician: Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centreFollow correct repair techniques and work to factory specificationsConduct detailed inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesRepair or replace damaged mechanical, electrical, and trim componentsDisassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as requiredUse diagnostic tools to identify and fix system faultsPerform quality checks to ensure work meets industry standardsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflowMaintain accurate records of work completedAdhere to all safety protocols and ..... full job details .....
