Sandal Wakefield is part of the Sandal Group, being the largest distributor of BMW, MINI and BMWi vehicles in the region.Our success is driven by the skill and potential of our team which is why we recognise and reward your hard work, loyalty and achievements with excellent benefits, training and career development opportunities.We offer:Top rates of pay24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), which increases with your length of service, up to 26 daysHaving a paid day off for your birthdayAccess to a car benefit schemeAnnual health screeningKey Responsibilities:Diagnosing faults with mechanical and electrical systems (airbags, sensors, wiring, suspension, etc.)Stripping and refitting vehicle components such as seats, dashboards, airbags, door panels, wiring looms, steering, and suspension partsWorking on safety-critical systems (braking, steering, ADAS sensors)Supporting panel and paint technicians by preparing the car for their stage of work and then reassembling after repairsFollowing manufacturer repair methods and safety proceduresUsing diagnostic equipment to reset or recalibrate systems after repairs (e.g., ADAS, warning lights)Qualifications and Experience:Completion of a recognised automotive repair program or equivalent experience.At least 2 years of experience in a bodyshop environment and with knowledge of the latest repair techniques and equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.If you are a dedicated and skilled MET Technician who takes pride in your work and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, please write with a full CV indicating current salary expectations and notice ..... full job details .....
