MET Technician

Our client, a reputable and well-established Bodyshop and Accident Repair Centre in Barnstaple, is seeking a dedicated MET Technician to join their professional team.

Duties of the MET Technician role:

• Conduct all mechanical and bodywork on assigned vehicle repairs
• Perform dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
• Reassemble vehicles using new parts as required
• Carry out inspections and testing to ensure safety and quality standards
• Identify faults or safety issues and recommend necessary repairs
• Road test vehicles safely and legally to verify repairs and roadworthiness

Requirements for the MET Technician:

• Proven experience as a MET Technician or similar role in a busy workshop
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
• ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
