MET Technician

We are recruiting for a MET Technician on behalf of our client, an independent-owned bodyshop located in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable workshop within a close-knit team environment. Benefits for the successful MET Technician: Up to £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience Monday to Friday, 7:30 am 4:45 pm Optional overtime on Saturdays, paid at time and a half 20 days annual holiday plus 1 day per year served, up to 25 days Opportunity for career progression within a well-established independent bodyshop group Supportive work environment with in-house development opportunities Duties of the MET Technician: Conduct mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs Dismantling, fault diagnosis, and re-assembly with replacement parts when necessary Perform inspections and testing to ensure quality and safety standards Identify faults or potential hazards and advise accordingly Road test vehicles as required, ensuring safe and legal procedures Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction Requirements of the MET Technician: Minimum of 2 years experience as a MET Technician Full relevant qualifications preferred Good communication skills and ability to multi-task effectively Strong attention to detail and quality awareness Diagnostic and fault-finding skills ATA qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential This role offers a straightforward route to a competitive salary with the ..... full job details .....
