MET Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Commercial MET Technician to join a busy and professional bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. This role is ideal for an experienced technician seeking a stable, well-paid position within a reputable environment. The Commercial MET Technician will play a key part in maintaining high standards of repair work on commercial vehicles, ensuring safety, efficiency, and industry compliance.

Benefits for the successful MET Technician:

• Basic salary approximately -45,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Overtime available at an enhanced rate

Dutiesof the MET Technician:

• Carry out strip and refit work on light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), following accident damage procedures
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard
• Conduct servicing and inspections as required
• Record job times, materials used, and costs accurately
• Ensure all work conforms to industry standards
• Use the correct tools, parts, and materials for each job
• Maintain safety and quality throughout all tasks

Requirements of the MET Technician:

• Proven experience as a Commercial MET Technician
• Relevant qualifications such as ATA, NVQ, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle repair techniques
• Ability to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship
