MET Technician

Our client, a reputable and well-established crash repair workshop in Guildford, is looking to appoint a skilled MET Technician to join their busy team.

Duties:

• Conduct assessments and carry out repairs on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
• Perform MET, electrical, and panel repairs with precision and attention to detail
• Strictly follow vehicle manufacturer repair procedures and safety protocols as a MET Technician
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain workflow efficiency and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate repair records and complete diagnostic reports

Requirements:

• ATA qualification or equivalent technical certification as a MET Technician or auto electrician
• Proven experience working within a fast-paced automotive body repair or crash repair environment
• Experience working on premium brands such as Mercedes, Audi, BMW, etc. is highly desirable
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with a focus on quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and high standards of work
