MET Technician

What you can expect as a MET Technician:

• Monday-Friday - 8:00am-5:30pm
• Salary - -20 -22 per hour-
• NO-Weekends
• Company will help you gain your ATA qualification - This will lead to a pay rise

The Role of an MET Technician:

• Must have experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle.
• Carry out diagnostic checks on vehicles.
• Geometry Wheel Alignment.
• Suspension and mechanical duties.
• Stripping and Fitting Vehicles before and after paint.
• Stripping and Fitting bumpers and doors.
• Repairing interior Plastics and Seats.
• Repairing Exterior Plastics.
• Experience with ADAS systems desirable but not essential
• Repairing Windscreens desirable but not essential
• Repairing, stripping and fitting dashboards.
• Dealing with wiring throughout the car.

Qualifications

• ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified MET Technician or time served within an MET Technician role.
• Full valid driving licence
• Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre or with prestige vehicles would be desirable.
