MET Technician - Prestige, Derby. £45,000 - £50,000 basic OTE £60,000. Prestige Accident Repair centre. Immaculate, high tech repair centre. Permanent role, 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday. Excellent working conditions. 100% time given on job cards (No time taken off job cards). 29 days annual leave rising with service, enhanced paternity and maternity, sick pay, private Healthcare plan, progression available, expanding company.Responsibilities
Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehiclesEnsure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standardsDismantling vehicles ready for the panel areaCarrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic workRe-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident conditionStripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elementsAll MET duties required within your remitFollow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident conditionPerform road testing (if applicable)Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair methodEnsure that all jobs are completed within the estimated timesCheck that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for creditAwareness and adherence to all necessary standards and HandS proceduresYou must have experience as an MET Technician in a high volume accident repair centreBenefits
