This role is ideal for someone with a background in either a bodyshop or accident repair environment and The Job: MET Technician / Mechanic Strip FitterRemove and refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehiclesEnsure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standardsDismantling vehicles ready for the panel areaCarrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic workOrdering replacement partsRe-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident conditionStripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elementsAll MET duties required within your remitFollow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident conditionFault finding / DiagnosticsPerform road testing (if applicable)Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair method Job Experience Required: MET ..... full job details .....
