Met Strip Fitter

Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Strip Fitter to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to work in a modern workshop, carrying out strip and refit work to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle strip and fit repairs to manufacturer and insurance standards.

• Undertake mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work where required.

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs using modern equipment and tools.

• Work efficiently to achieve deadlines without compromising quality.

• Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.

• ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential.

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with good problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence.
