MES Functional Specialist/Consultant
Kent based - 3 days per week onsite Purpose: Provide deep manufacturing operations expertise, defining how production, quality, scheduling, traceability and shop-floor execution processes should operate, while ensuring alignment with ERP-driven planning and financial processes. The role focuses on how the business and factory should operate and how those processes are enabled through MES and ERP integration. Experience in a core manufacturing organisation is essential integrated with core ERP systems is essential Key Responsibilities: Assess current manufacturing processes and operational workflows. Define future-state manufacturing processes. Lead MES requirements gathering workshops with operational stakeholders. Define: Production execution processes Work order management Material consumption Shop-floor reporting Quality management Traceability requirements Performance measurement Define ERP integration requirements including: Production orders Materials and inventory Bills of Materials Labour and resource reporting Cost collection Procurement interfaces Support process design and solution selection activities. Experience Required: S ignificant MES business process experience. Understanding of factory operations and manufacturing execution. Experience integrating MES with ERP solutions such as: SAP S/4HANA Oracle Dynamics 365 Experience within: Industrial manufacturing Construction manufacturing Modular construction Fabrication Precast operations Strong workshop ..... full job details .....
