MES Engineer (POMS)

Job Title: MES Engineer POMSNET Aquila9 month contract.Remote Working (Europe)Job DescriptionThis role leads the implementation and optimisation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution as part of a global rollout of POMSNET Aquila. You will support an in-flight programme delivering a standardised MES platform across multiple international manufacturing sites. Working remotely from Europe, you will provide technical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive digital manufacturing excellence in a complex, highly regulated environment.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design, configuration and integration of POMSNET Aquila MES applications across multiple manufacturing modalities and sites.Plan and execute comprehensive testing of MES solutions, including functional, integration and user acceptance testing, to ensure robust and reliable system performance.Develop, maintain and continuously improve MES documentation, including best practices, playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MES engineers and wider collaborators, fostering knowledge sharing and consistent implementation standards.Analyse manufacturing processes and operational data to identify opportunities for MES-driven process improvement, automation and harmonisation across sites.Ensure all MES engineering activities comply with cGMP, relevant regulatory requirements and established internal ways of working.Contribute to governance frameworks ..... full job details .....
