Rate: -6080 per hour
Overview
We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer with hands-on PAS-X expertise to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork. This is a fully onsite role, requiring candidates who are able and willing to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop electronic batch records (eBR) using PAS-X
• Perform workflow configuration using MBR Designer and related PAS-X tools
• Support validation activities including FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ
• Assist with integration between MES and systems such as SAP and DeltaV/PLCs
• Provide shopfloor MES support during live batch execution
• Troubleshoot workflow, master data, and system interface issues
• Support change control processes, deviations, and SOP documentation
• Contribute to system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 4-8 years of MES experience within pharma or biotech environments
• Strong hands-on experience with PAS-X configuration
• Proven experience in eBR design and workflow configuration
• Experience supporting MES in live manufacturing environments
• Good understanding of GMP environments and regulatory frameworks
• Familiarity with validation processes (CSV lifecycle, IQ/OQ, FAT/SAT)
• Knowledge of ISA-88 / ISA-95 principles is advantageous
