MES Application Support Engineer - up to £80K - Chester

A globally recognised organisation is seeking an experienced MES Application Support Engineer to join a technology team supporting critical manufacturing and production systems.This role offers the opportunity to work across Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), industrial automation technologies, SCADA platforms and shop floor applications, helping to ensure operational continuity across a complex manufacturing environment.You will provide technical support, troubleshoot production-critical issues, collaborate with suppliers and business stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing technology platforms.Responsibilities for the MES Application Support Engineer:Provide technical support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related production applicationsSupport industrial automation environments including SCADA systems, HMIs and robotics platformsInvestigate and resolve complex technical incidents, performing root cause analysis and identifying long term solutionsWork closely with suppliers, OEMs and internal stakeholders to coordinate issue resolutionProduce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articlesMonitor service performance and provide regular updates to stakeholdersSupport incident, problem and change management activities using ServiceNowContribute to continuous service improvement initiatives across manufacturing technology platformsCollaborate with cross functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and ..... full job details .....
