About the Role

The MEP Quantity Surveyor in Slough will oversee financial and contractual management for major MEP packages on a seven-year infrastructure programme along the M4 corridor. Reporting to a Commercial Lead or Director, this permanent position offers a salary between £60,000 and £90,000 plus a comprehensive package. Core responsibilities include preparing accurate cost estimates, feasibility studies, and benchmarking analysis. You will manage tender documentation, evaluate submissions, and ensure robust project cost control. Day-to-day duties involve reviewing contract documents, managing variations, and tracking progress. This role requires deep engagement with M&E packages, delivering precise commercial reporting and procurement support for projects valued from £100 million to £1.4 billion across the UK.

My client deliver various construction projects across the UK ranging from £100million to £1.4billion, now looking for the services of multiple MEP commercial staff on a 7 year scheme along the M4 corridor.

The role of this MEP commercial candidate will be getting very much into the weeds of various Mandamp;E packages, conducting day to day commercial activities, reporting onto a Commercial Lead/Director.

Duties include:

Manage the financial and contractual aspects of MEP packages, ensuring accurate cost estimates, tender documentation and project cost control
Prepare accurate cost estimates, feasibility studies, and benchmarking analysis
Assist in the procurement process, including preparing tender documentation and evaluating tenders
Review contract documents, manage variations, progress payments, and final accounts
Conduct cost analysis and identify value engineering opportunities
Review project progress, including programming, RFI schedules, and submittal schedules

Depending on the calibre and level of commercial experience, my client would look to pay between £60k to £90k plus package.
