MEP Pre-Construction Engineer Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, UK Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 + Benefits Onsite 5 days a week MEP Pre-Construction Engineer - Major Construction Projects An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Pre-Construction Engineer to join a rapidly expanding project delivery team in Newcastle.You will be responsible for leading Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) input during the pre-construction phase of large-scale commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:Review and coordinate MEP designs during tender and pre-construction stages. Support cost planning, value engineering and technical submissions. Liaise with consultants, contractors and client stakeholders. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Assist with procurement and construction planning activities. Requirements:Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience within pre-construction, design management or project engineering. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
