MEP Design/Technical Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior MEP Design Manager / Technical Manager to join its construction team on a permanent basis. This senior role will lead MEP design across major projects, shaping technical strategy, coordinating design delivery and identifying risks before they affect construction. The position offers the opportunity to influence projects from pre-construction through to completion across sectors including healthcare, commercial, leisure, MOD and MOJ.Key Responsibilities:Lead the MEP design process from pre-construction through to project deliveryReview and challenge designs to ensure they are practical, coordinated and compliantIdentify technical risks at an early stage and develop effective solutionsPrepare technical strategies and project deliverables plansCoordinate consultants, designers, specialists and supply chain partnersLead design reviews and ensure agreed actions are completedDrive value engineering while maintaining quality, compliance and performanceManage consultant scopes, fees and performanceEnsure compliance with the Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and relevant industry standardsBuild trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholdersJob Requirements:Proven experience leading MEP design on complex construction projectsStrong experience in pre-construction, design management and technical risk managementExcellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness, including experience managing ..... full job details .....
