MEP Designer

MEP Designer Location: Central Scotland (Enhanced Hybrid) Salary: £55,000 + benefits Contract: Permanent We re recruiting for an experienced MEP Designer to join a growing building services consultancy delivering technically varied projects across the commercial, healthcare, education and public sectors. Working alongside mechanical, electrical and sustainability specialists, you ll produce coordinated building services designs from initial concept through to detailed design, construction and project handover. The Role Produce coordinated mechanical, electrical and public health designs. Develop technical drawings, layouts, schematics and specifications. Create and maintain 3D building services models using Revit MEP. Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural designs. Carry out design calculations, equipment selection and spatial coordination. Identify and resolve clashes using BIM coordination software. Attend design meetings with clients, consultants and project stakeholders. Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and project specifications. Support junior designers and contribute to consistent design quality. Requirements Previous experience within an MEP, building services or multidisciplinary consultancy. Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Experience producing coordinated mechanical and/or electrical building services designs.
