MEP Design Manager

MK Search have partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a strong international presence delivering notable projects across sectors who are looking for an MEP Design Manager to join their data centre business unit based from an office location in Slough. You will be working from an early stage of a number of upcoming data centre developments across west London and the Thames Valley ranging from -100m500m in value.-

As Design Manager, you will:

• Support MEP Design Management-
• Support Design Deep Dive reviews.
• Support tender applications and PCSA periods. Act as a focal point to disseminate lessons learned from other projects and encourage standardisation of approaches. Ensure company standards are met at the design stages.-
• Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
• Promote effective Design Management processes and use of CDE platforms through design stages and project delivery

We are looking for:

• Expert understanding and experience of Design Management
• Expert understanding and experience in BS 7671 18th Edition
• Good understanding of Building Safety Act
• Good Understanding of Building Regulations
• Working Knowledge of CDE, BIM & Design Coordination software.
