MEP Design Manager

MEP Design Manager | 12 Month Contract | 1x per week in SomersetI am currently on the lookout for an individual who can manage the delivery of coordinated MEP design (Drawings, Models, Schedules) across all disciplines, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Key responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all MEP drawings/modelsEnsure consistency in drawing standards, layering, symbols and output formattingmonitor drawing progress against the programmeCoordinationFacilitate coordination between different MEP disciplines and Architectural and Structrual teams Use BIM platforms for clash detection and resolutionLead internal coordination workshopsTeam ManagementManage discipline leads and their drafting/engineering teamsAssign priorities, check workloads and resolve bottlenecksReview and approve drawings/models before issuesClient andamp; Stakeholder LiasonAct as the design-side counterpart to the clients Project ManagerAttend design coordination meetingsReport on design progress, issues and risksQuality AssuranceImplement drawing production standards, QA checks and complianceersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
