The Role
The company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MEP BIM Technician to join its Kent-based team. This is a hybrid role, offering a balance between office and remote working. The successful candidate will support the delivery of coordinated building services designs using BIM processes across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit
- Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary BIM models
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop effective design solutions
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements
- Attend coordination meetings (both in-person and virtual)
- Maintain accurate, high-quality model data and documentation
Requirements
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Good understanding of BIM workflows and standards (e.g. ISO 19650)
- Background in MEP / building services engineering
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and design standards
- Previous consultancy experience
