Mentor Support Worker
Support Worker Burton Temp to Perm Monday - Friday - Fulltime - 9am - 5pm £13.68 per hour My client is a well-established provider of high-quality care to young people (aged 16 to 18). Working directly with young people who may have experienced trauma, family breakdowns or care leaving, helping them to develop social skills, access education, training and employment. Encourage the development of independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, time management, and personal care). Assist young people in accessing education, training, employment, and community services. Work alongside each young person to create personalised support plans, focusing on their strengths and areas of development. Promote a positive, respectful, and safe environment while maintaining professional boundaries. Offer ongoing mentoring and guidance to build the confidence and resilience of young people. Respond to young people''s needs, ensuring all support is delivered in line with safeguarding policies and Ofsted regulations.
