This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils'' emotional wellbeing and mental health.The RoleAs a Mental Health TA, you will support pupils who may experience anxiety, trauma, low mood, or behavioural challenges. You will work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help pupils regulate emotions, develop coping strategies, and engage positively with learning.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with mental health and emotional needsSupporting emotional regulation and positive behaviourWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staffHelping pupils access learning in a calm and supportive mannerCreating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience working with children or young people with SEMH or mental health needsA calm, patient, and empathetic approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA genuine passion for supporting pupil wellbeingAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?Competitive pay of 90 per dayFree access to CPD and training, including safeguarding and mental healthOngoing ..... full job details .....
