This has negatively affected their mental health and also, their learning.This school are looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join in the classroom and support in the following ways:Facilitate one to one interventionsEnsure the students are following their educational health care plansSupport with modelling healthy ways to copeSupporting in conflict resolution and helping students process and regulate their emotionsSupervise playtimesEncourage and ensure the students feel supported throughout the school dayReport back to the class teacher and other multi-disciplinary professionals on the progress of the studentsTo be a great Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will need to be empathetic, patient and come with a positive attitude.
