As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students’ emotional wellbeing, helping them to regulate their feelings, build resilience, and engage positively with their learning. Key Responsibilities: • Support students experiencing mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, and emotional dysregulation. • Implement strategies to promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, and self-regulation. • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils requiring additional emotional and mental health guidance. • Help create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment. • Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and the SENCO to support individual student needs. • Monitor and track students’ emotional and behavioural progress, providing feedback to staff.
