The provision provides quality education for children with complex backgrounds, mental health issues and sometimes challenging behaviour. Pupils have mental health needs including Anxiety, Depression, Self harm, Autism, AHDH, ODD and Schizophrenia. They require a strong and resilient support worker who will be patient, caring, understanding, firm and fair. Person SpecificationPrevious experience of supporting students with SEN, mental health and/or challenging behaviourConfident, calm and collected in a School environmentKnowledgeable of the UK curriculumKnowledge of safeguarding procedureReliable and punctualAbility to risk assess and follow instructionsAbility to build rapport with individual pupilsMental Health Support - BasildonYou will be responsible for supporting a small class of around 3-6 studentsSupport the teacher in delivering the learning objectives for the lessonYou will use resources to help each student understand and engage in lessonsYou will be a pastoral support and ..... full job details .....
