Mental Health Support Worker

We''re looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our specialist team in Southwark. This is a rewarding opportunity to support people with severe mental health needs, substance use issues and other complex challenges to achieve greater independence, stability and wellbeing. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed and person-centred approach, you''ll help customers build confidence, develop life skills and move towards their personal goals. What you''ll do As a Support Worker, you''ll work closely with customers to deliver tailored support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes. You''ll also: Support them with tenancy sustainment and help customers manage their accommodation successfully. Encourage life skills development, including cooking, cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment. Assist with benefits applications, budgeting and accessing financial support Build positive relationships with mental health services, social care teams and other support agencies. Support customers to access specialist services, education, training and community opportunities. Maintain accurate records, support plans and risk assessments.
