Are you an experienced Mental Health Support Worker looking for your next challenge?

We are launching a new supported living flats service in Farnborough, supporting individuals as they transition from hospital and forensic mental health settings into more independent community living.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide safe, consistent, and person-centred support to residents with complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting individuals with mental health conditions, self-harm risks, suicide prevention, and behaviours that challenge

• Promoting independence and daily living skills (budgeting, cooking, appointments, community access)

• Assisting with personal care, medication, and household tasks where required

• Using de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations safely and respectfully

• Building therapeutic, trusting relationships that promote dignity and empowerment

• Working closely with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams

We''re looking for confident, compassionate, and resilient Support Workers who can demonstrate:

• Experience in mental health or forensic settings (essential)

• Knowledge of suicide prevention, self-harm awareness, and challenging behaviour management

• A calm, empathetic, and professional approach

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Flexibility to adapt within a dynamic supported living environment
