This is an ongoing temporary position supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. Applicants must be confident working within a hospital environment and managing behaviours that may challenge. Main Responsibilities Providing person-centred support to patients. Supporting patients with daily routines and activities. Promoting independence, dignity and emotional wellbeing. Observing and reporting changes in behaviour or wellbeing. Following individual care plans and risk assessments. Supporting clinical and care teams to maintain a safe environment. Using approved de-escalation and intervention techniques when required. Maintaining accurate records and handover notes. Essential Requirements Previous experience working within mental health, secure care or a similar setting. Current PMVA or MAPPA training .
