Mental Health Social WorkerLocation: Salford CivicJob Type: Hybrid (up to 2 days work from home)Rate: £30 per hourWe are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Social Worker to join our Front Door team at Salford Civic. This role involves conducting visits and assessments in support of the contact team, offering a vital service in the community. Hybrid working options are available, allowing for up to two days of work from home per week.Day-to-day of the role:Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients'' mental health needs.Collaborate closely with the contact team to provide timely and effective support.Make home visits to clients as part of the assessment and support process.Develop and implement tailored care plans based on assessment findings.Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases and update on client progress.Provide crisis intervention as needed.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Social Worker with a current registration.Experience in mental health settings, particularly in conducting assessments and home visits.Strong understanding of mental health issues and the social factors that affect mental health.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records. ..... full job details .....
