A supportive and inclusive Specialist School in Thatcham is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and helping them overcome emotional, behavioural, and educational barriers. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work with pupils who may experience a range of additional needs, including SEMH, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour. The successful Mental Health Assistant will work closely with Teachers, Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff, and other professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and personalised support throughout the school day.
