We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and resilient Mental Health and Substance Use Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting adults in Swansea. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside individuals experiencing mental health difficulties and/or challenges associated with substance use, helping them build confidence, develop independence and move towards positive change. About the role As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual''s needs. Your responsibilities will include: Building trusting and supportive relationships with service users. Providing practical and emotional support with day-to-day living. Supporting individuals to manage their mental health and substance use. Encouraging independence, wellbeing and personal development. Helping service users access relevant health, social and community services. Supporting individuals to work towards agreed goals and recovery plans. Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in wellbeing or risk. Maintaining accurate records and working effectively with colleagues and external professionals. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.
