Mental Health Act Administrator

Are you an experienced administrator - ideally with knowledge of the Mental Health Act or a qualification in it - looking for a new challenge? If so, join Pinhoe View as a Mental Health Act Administrator. As the Mental Health Act and Compliance Administrator you will work as part of the administration team at Pinhoe View provides 36 acute beds across two wards for men and women You will work 30 hours a week ensuring the department upholds a confidential and efficient service in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007). You will be responsible for managing and analysing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, this includes undertaking assessment requests, transfer of authority, consent to treatments, renewals of detention, consent to treatments and arranging hearings, tribunals and appeals. You will also liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, service users, their families, legal representatives and official agencies, receiving and responding to enquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policy, service level agreements and statutory regulations.
