Menswear Designer

Menswear Designer Location: Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland Permanent Douglas and Grahame is an established independent fashion house with over 100 years of heritage and a portfolio of respected menswear brands, including REMUS UOMO, Douglas, DG''s Drifter and Daniel Grahame, alongside its established schoolwear brand, 1880 CLUB. We are looking for an experienced Menswear Designer to join our team in Carrickfergus and play a key role in creating and developing seasonal garment collections across our portfolio of brands. This is an opportunity to combine creativity with commercial thinking, taking designs from initial concept through to sampling and production while ensuring each collection reflects the individual brand identity, meets quality standards and works within agreed cost structures. About the role As Menswear Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new garment collections, working across a range of established menswear brands and product categories. You will: - Research current and emerging menswear trends and translate these into commercially relevant collections. - Develop garment designs that reflect the individual brand DNA and customer requirements. - Create and develop seasonal collections from initial concepts through to final production. - Produce and maintain accurate style and size specifications for samples and bulk production. - Use CAD and design software to develop and communicate garment designs. - Work closely ..... full job details .....
