We are working on behalf of a leading global organisation specialising in water and wastewater treatment solutions. Due to continued project growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced MEICA Site Manager to oversee the delivery of projects across the UK.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the successful onsite delivery of MEICA works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing site programmes, subcontractors, labour and resources across MEICA workstreams.
- Liaising with clients and managing site requirements, costs, variations and procurement.
- Overseeing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control installations.
- Managing site health & safety, including CDM, RAMS and compliance.
- Ensuring installations meet technical specifications, drawings and quality standards.
- Managing ITPs, installation records, testing and handover documentation.
- Identifying and resolving defects and non-conformances prior to commissioning..
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a MEICA Site Manager, Site Agent or Project Manager within water/wastewater projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installations.
- Experience across pumps, pipework, electrical systems, instrumentation and control.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015, WIMES and site health & safety requirements.
- SMSTS qualified.
- IOSH or relevant H&S qualification.
- First Aid at Work qualified.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
This is a MEICA-focused role within the water and wastewater sector, rather than a traditional civil construction or building Site Manager position.
Package & Benefits
- Salary up to -65,000 depending on experience.
- Company car or -470 per month cash allowance.
- 37-hour working week.
