We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meeting and Events Coordinator to join our amazing team.The ideal candidate is passionate about the event and hotel industry, eager to learn, and willing to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our clients.In this role, you will assist in planning and executing meetings, events, and conferences from start to finish. You will work closely with our clients, agents and team members to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of all aspects of the event.The role itself is a junior role, as we are looking for someone that will be looking after short leads bookings but that will be as well able to take larger events in charge after a few months in the company.Key Responsibilities:Respond to enquiries with a two week or less booking lead time from agents and clients within time limit and in a professional mannerPractice efficient and effective yield management in line with guidelines and maximise each and every sales opportunityKeep up to date on chases for events that are provisionally held and keep an open line of communication with agents and clients to encourage conversionPrepare contracts and ensure maximum conversion of all business takenTo conduct show rounds for existing bookings and for new clients in a timely and professional mannerEnsure clients receive a detailed event order in advance of their eventProduce and distribute weekly sheets listing forthcoming eventsReceive feedback from the client during and after the event. Resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within guidelines issuedEnsure accounting procedures are adhered to at all times, obtain prepayments, reconcile and check final invoices and send to the clientIf you think, you have what it takes to join our team and are passionate about the event and hotel industry, go ahead and apply!Just tell us why you are the perfect fit for this role.Qualifications
