Medical Secretary - Private Healthcare

Our Client is a Private Healthcare Organisation are looking for a temporary Medical Secretary for an ongoing, full time role on an excellent hourly rate. Details below As a Medical Secretary, you will provide integral administrative support to the medical team, ensuring seamless operations in a dynamic, clinical environment. This involves managing diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining accurate patient records. Key Responsibilities Support Registered Clinicians by drafting letters, reports, and general documentation Act as minute-taker during meetings chaired by Medical Director, SMT, or ad hoc sessions Transcribe, proofread, and edit documents, ensuring high standards of accuracy Coordinate regulatory paperwork and participate in its administration Manage clinician schedules and diary coordination, including arranging conference calls Liaise with external agencies and practices to gather updates on service users and GP correspondence Handle all incoming enquiries and communications efficiently Requirements Administration or secretarial experience, ideally in a healthcare setting Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office suite essential) Audio typing experience preferred Strong communication and organisational abilities At least 4 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths Awareness of confidentiality protocols and clinical documentation standards Knowledge of mental health conditions and medications beneficial ..... full job details .....
