Medical Laboratory Assistants, Hemel Hempstead, HP240 hours a week between hours of 8am-8pm, £13.15phChemisty Laboratory based on site at a large hospital requires diligent and efficient Medical Laboratory Assistants to provide general support to the busy Sample Reception. Duties will include: Receipt, identify and prepare all samples and request formsHandle large volume of incoming samplesIdentify and prepare - maintaining accurate log via the specimen tracker systemAssisting with incoming department queries via phone, email, face to face in a timely and professional mannerOther duties assigned by the department The successful candidate must have had proven work experience within a UK pathology laboratory, ideally a Biomedical Graduate. Experience of working on Winpath would be an advantageous.You will also need to be flexible, highly motivated, an effective team player, methodical and have excellent communication skills.
