Medical Education Administrator

Overview
The Medical Academic Unit is looking to fill vacancies within the GP administration team. We currently have one full time post and one part time post at 0.4 (2 days a week). We aim to provide high quality and comprehensive senior administrative support for Medical Education at Broomfield Hospital. The role is varied and interesting with key responsibilities including organisation of mandatory weekly teaching programmes, coordination of GP Refresher course and managing applications for placements from clinical observers.Responsibilities
Provide support and cover for all aspects of the medical education office and the GP office in particularProvide an excellent customer focused service, including dealing with visitors, telephone and written enquiries and taking action as appropriate.Provide support to other members of the medical education team as required. This may include adhoc minute taking at meetings.Maintain regular contact with clinical supervisors/Lead Employer and TPDs.Regular communication with trainees and speakers as changes occur frequently.Jointly responsible for regularly managing and updating databases across different portfolio systemsMatching topics with representative specialty areasWorking closely with representatives, ensuring sufficient sponsorship generated to cover costs of sessionsEnsure compliance with all Trust policies and those procedures relevant to the area of workWorking for our organisation
