We are partnered with a leading London market carrier seeking to invest in a key new media underwriting hire to complement its well established PI / financial lines offerings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ambition and drive to strategically shape and grow the portfolio with the full backing of senior leadership. Written on both Lloyd’s and company paper, this is a genuine opportunity for a commercially minded individual with entrepreneurial spirit, experience in the media / entertainment specialty sector and with the strength of character to use established experience to help with defining the growth and development of this area. This will be a global division, which also currently includes an exisiting portfolio of high profile, household name accounts. There will be a broad appetite across the platform, offering flexibility and ability to really go out to market to make an established mark – your relationship management ability with both London market and regional brokers will be key. Really exciting time to join this large, global insurance group in an area which is offering a guaranteed structure to facilitate such an important proposition within the business.Responsibilities

Shape and grow the media underwriting portfolio with the full backing of senior leadership.Help define the growth and development of the media / entertainment specialty area within the global division.Engage in market activity to go to market and establish a mark for the practice.Manage relationships with London market and regional brokers.Work within a global division that includes a portfolio of high-profile accounts.Qualifications
