Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Media Teacher to join this Client, a mixed secondary academy for pupils aged 11-16 located in Havering.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Media Teacher looking to join a supportive secondary school on a permanent, full-time basis from September.Media Teacher - The RoleAs a Media Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Media lessons, inspiring students to develop their understanding of media industries, audiences, representation and media language.The successful Media Teacher will be expected to:Plan and deliver high-quality Media lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach Media across the relevant Key Stages, including examination classes where required. Create engaging lessons that encourage students to analyse, interpret and produce different forms of media. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Prepare students effectively for internal and external assessments. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and academic progress. Contribute to the development of the Media curriculum and resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school.
