Role - Media ManagerClient - University of SouthamptonLocation - Highfield Campus SO17Salary - 24.50 per hourType - 6 Month Minimum, Hybrid working Tate are looking for an experienced Media Manager to lead proactive media relations activity, secure high-profile coverage, and tell compelling stories that enhance the University of Southampton''s reputation.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop newsworthy stories across the organisation.Write press releases, features and media content.Build strong relationships with journalists, editors and broadcasters.Manage media enquiries and organise interviews, press briefings and photo opportunities.Support and coach senior stakeholders in media engagement.Deliver proactive media campaigns and contribute to crisis communications.About YouYou''ll have:Proven experience in media relations, PR or communications.A track record of securing national or international media coverage.Excellent writing, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.Experience translating complex information into engaging content.The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.If you''re a confident communicator with strong media contacts and a passion for creating impactful stories, we''d love to hear from you.
