Mechanical Assembler Technician Egham Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing precision-engineered components and assembling them into system elements used in advanced hydraulic systems. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with high-value components to strict quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble components using hand, power, and precision toolsInterpret technical drawings and follow work instructionsEnsure all parts meet required quality standards; identify and report defectsHandle components safely in line with health and safety regulationsMaintain tools, equipment, and 5S workplace standardsWork collaboratively with colleagues and support team activitiesContribute to continuous improvement, including work instructions and risk assessmentsFollow all company procedures and safety requirementsSkills and ExperienceEssential:Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong mechanical assembly skills (hydraulics knowledge desirable)Experience with hand, power, and precision toolsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityExperience:Minimum 2 years'' experience in precision engineering or similar environmentExperience assembling high-value, low-volume componentsQualifications:Apprenticeship or equivalent practical background (preferred)Key CompetenciesAbility to work independently and as ..... full job details .....
