Mechatronics Engineer

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Mechatronics Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a maternity cover contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.Umbrella Pay Rate: £35.80 per hour.Duties: Designs, analyses, modifies, and integrates robotics, automation, technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.Develops, implements, and tests preventative maintenance plans, interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment, and tooling.Investigates and documents engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with standard operating procedures.Develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required: Practical experience building verification and validation rigs for formal approval / sign off.Knowledge of using SysML and Matlab/Simulink for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Experience in network architecture design/communication networks.Solid understanding of requirements definition and interface documentation required to support the development and acceptance of solutions.Complex issue resolution across various functional commodities for ..... full job details .....
