Mechanics tutor - Alternative provision

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Alternative provision in Nottingham who are looking to secure a Mechanics tutor on a temp to perm, full time basis.

5 days per week, 39 weeks per year. 8:30-4:30 (including unpaid break of 30 minutes) 
£25,000-£30,000 per year

The role will include high-quality teaching and learning in mechanics, tailored to the needs of students aged 11–16.

Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting. An passion for working with pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding role.

The ideal Mechanics tutor will have:

• Previous experience as a Mechanics tutor

• A passion for teaching and mentoring students

• Strong knowledge of mechanics principles and practices

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction
