Introduction The successful Mechanical Test Technician will support the engineering team with the assembly, repair and testing of mechanical products and assemblies to high specifications. This hands-on role involves preparing test specimens, carrying out mechanical tests, recording results and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare, set up and assemble mechanical components and test assemblies. Carry out mechanical testing, recording, processing and reporting test results. Follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions and testing procedures. Maintain assembly equipment, tools and test equipment. Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency. Package finished products for dispatch. Follow all health and safety procedures. Ideal Experience Previous hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, testing or a similar industrial engineering environment. Confident using hand tools and assembling mechanical components.
